THE SLAYER AND THE DRAGON
By Elias Giouvanos
Once there was a land called Tameloot. This land was once a peaceful land. Dragons invaded the land, 50,000 of them. But there was only one dragon that was peaceful out of the 50,000. His name was Trakeist. So instead of 50,000 dragons burning down houses and villages with their fire breathing power, only 49,000 of them did. Tameloot had to find a brave sole that would slay all of them. They found him and his name was Kamecoot. Kamecoot was the best swordsmen in Tameloot, but 49,000 was too much to handle. So he began his quest. He started killing dragon after dragon. One, two, three, four. In a few months he had slay all 49,000. of the dragons. He went to a cave to find some water and in the cave was a dragon. He knew this was Trakeist, the peaceful dragon his friend told him about. He met the dragon and befriended him. And that is how our story begins. They flew off together back to Tameloot. Kamecoot told the villagers about the dragon he had brought since they were very frightened of it.
Three years after this happened, an army of Huns invaded the land. Now Tameloot would need an army. They drafted Kamecoot, but they didn't want him alone. Oh no, they also wanted him to bring Trakeist. After that they drafted 999,000.000 more people to be in the army. So the war began. Kamecoot flew up on Trakeist's back. Trakeist took a deep breath and breathed fire on the Hun army and killed all of them.
After that, Kameeoot and Trakeist had many adventures until one day Trakeist laid down to die. But he is not completely gone. Look for him in the stars. You never know, the peaceful dragon might be smiling back!
